The Couture Process

Couture is the art of creating garments entirely for you - designed, cut, and constructed to follow your body precisely, so the final piece fits like a glove. Every curve, proportion, and detail is considered, resulting in something that feels effortless to wear but is highly intentional in its construction.

Each piece is developed over the course of 3–4 fittings. During these fittings, I work directly on your body by pinning, draping, and shaping the fabric in real time. This allows me to refine the fit at every stage, from the initial structure to the final finish. Your feedback is part of the process, so we’re not just achieving a technically perfect fit, but one that also feels right to you.

Fittings are conducted in person, as this level of precision requires working directly on the body. I currently offer fittings in Ottawa and Toronto, where each session builds on the last to bring the piece to its final, perfected form
