Proof is a couturier specializing in made-to-measure bespoke pieces. I’m passionate and dedicated to the craft of garment making, and hope to create pieces you’ll pass down for generations to come.

Ready to Wear:
All Ready to Wear can be ordered using my cup-size inclusive size chart, or upgraded to the Made-to-Measure service for a customized fit.

Made to Measure an at-home fitting for you to try on and assess your fit before I craft your final piece - guaranteed to fit perfectly or I'll remake or alter it at no added cost. Click here to learn more about the process.

Couture:
Couture items are handcrafted from the finest luxury materials, lined in a buttery soft mulberry silk, and corseted for a perfectly sculpted fit. Each piece requires 2-3 at-home fittings to shape it precisely to your body.

Every detail - from the boning to the hand-finished hem - is tailored specifically to you. The process is methodical, intentional, and rooted in traditional couture techniques. Click here to learn more about the process.

FIT & DESIGN

My pieces are an ode to the feminine. My designs toe the line between playful and meticulous and I love making clothing for people who want to be seen.

SUSTAINABILITY & ETHICS

In 2021 I committed myself to only using biodegradable fabrics. I prefer to work with natural fibers whenever possible. While I cannot account for 100% of my supply chain I work hard to source quality fabrics from well reputed retailers and source all my corsetry supplies locally.

Part of being ethical also means following my own moral compass, which largely means I care about you and the garment you receive. All made-to-measure pieces come with a fit guarantee and all Proof pieces are warrantied. I believe in caring deeply about my garments and the clients who wear them, and want you to have a treasured piece in your wardrobe for years to come.

ABOUT ME

I'm Jessica Firestone - owner/operator of Proof. Currently it's just me here designing and handcrafting your garments.

Growing up I was always obsessed with textiles - while the rest of my siblings were asking for toys I remember begging my mom for hand embroidered handkerchiefs and thrifted silk scarves. I would sneak into my dad's closet to admire the stitching on his leather dress shoes. At age 11, my mom gifted me a subscription to Teen Vogue and my love of fashion ignited. I would pour over the pages day in, day out, completely lost in the daydream of fashion.

It's with Proof that I hope to share my awe and admiration for quality textiles, craftsmanship, and details with anyone who comes across my designs.
